FATAL FALL UNDER LORRY
P.A. DARGAVILLE, This Day. Fatal injuries were received by John Goldsbury, aged 11, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Goldsbury, of Te Kopuru, when, after wobbling on his bicycle, he fell headlong under a truck being driven from Mr. R. A. Powell's slaughterhouse by Mr. Edward G. Bradley. Mr. Bradley immediately secured a taxi and had the boy taken to the Northern Wairoa Hospital. The boy did not regain consciousness and died at 1.45 a.m. today.
