REPORT ABOMT GEN. PATTON

LONDON, November 22. . An official statement was issued today- from Allied headquarters in Jtfbrth Africa about Major-General Patton, following allegations made by ah American radio commentator that tje was involved in a scene in a military hospital in Sicily. _ * The statement says: "General Patton '' 5s commanding the Seventh Army, and ~has commanded it since it was activated, and is continuing to command -it No report has ever reached this -headquarters of any soldier refusing - to obey an order by 'General Patton. General Patton has never been reprimanded at any time by General Eisenhower, or anybody else in this theatre.
