ACCIDENTS

A probable fracture of the base of the skull and injured ribs were suffered today by Mr. B. Page, farmhand, Ohariu Valley, in a collision between the bicycle he was riding and a motorcar in the valley. Ronald Fitzpatrick, schoolboy, 2 Maarama Crescent, was knocked down by a motor-car in Ohiro Road last night and had his tongue partly severed. He also received concussion, a cut on the head, and an injury to his right knee. The injured persons were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
