REPORTED IN COMMUNIQUE Rec. 1.15 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 22. Tonight's Soviet communique says that the Russians in the Dnieper bend fought local engagements as the result o£ which they improved their positions, ana south of Kremenchug they captured nine strongpoints. The Red Army at Chernyakhov, 10 miles north of Zhitomir and in the Korostychev area, continued to repulse tank infantry attacks, inflicting heavy losses.
