B.S.A. ROSE DAY.
Already in this present war several thousand men have returned and are now discharged. The civilian population owes to these men a deep debt of gratitude. Everyone feels this, and many feel dismayed that they lack the opportunity of showing a tangible expression of their thanks. But one organisation assumes this responsibility, the R.S.A., which has quietly gone on with its magnificent work in the interests of the returned men since the days of 1914-18. Few realise Friday is Rose Day. The people of Wellington have always given generously to this appeal, but the R.S.A., facing its double task—returned men from this war and the lasfe-^-asks for double generosity this year. \
