KIWI CONCERT PARTY

GUADALCANAL, November 6.

The Kiwi Concert Party of the Third New Zealand Division in the Pacific has just completed a series of performances in the islands of the Solomons Group and will shortly play to advanced troops wherever Dominion camps are situated. In just one month the party has already made 30 appearances outside New Caledonia.

Letters of thanks from the officers commanding United States camps have been framed in glowing terms, and many battle-scarred men in hospitals have voiced their praise and thanks for most entertaining shows. Just now the party is playing a medley of items entitled "Take It Easy, Soldier," the most popular presentation being a series of old-time songs from wellknown operas. Two excellent female impersonators clad in full theatrical wardrobe supplied by the National Patriotic Fund Board add plenty of spice to the programme. The party is one of the most valuable propaganda and publicity assets the New Zealand Division has with Allied servdcemen in this war: theatre;
