CARBON MONOXIDE
A Swedish note says that one of the chief drawbacks of producer-gas—mosi vehicles in Sweden are now producergas driven—is the serious risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. During 1940 and 1941 1000 cases of acute producergas poisoning were reported in Sweden. Twenty-four were fatal. During 1942 the cases numbered 1135, 11 of them fatal. Actually, it is stated, producergas poisoning has become the most common occupational illness in Sweden. ;
