YUGOSLAV FRONT

GERMANS REINFORCED Rec. 1 p.m. RUGBY, October 13. The Germans have brought up reinforcements and have started operations in all sections in Yugoslavia, especially at Susak, Karlovac, Zagreb, and Doboj. A communique of the Yugoslav People's Army of Liberation says, "The enemy has made several attempts to launch heavy attacks, but has been repulsed. At Gospic, in Slovenia, the main fighting continues for the principal railway line, and partisans everywhere are offering stubborn resistance." Cairo radio has reported that Yugoslav guerrillas have penetrated the western part of Zagreb, which is stated to be cut off from supplies and facing famine.—B.O.W.
