ROOK MENACE
"The removal of the rook menace is now in the hands of the Army authorities,"- said Mr. P. R. Climie, secretary of the Canterbury Progress League, when reporting on the progress of the scheme to destroy the rook colonies at Templeton and Sunnyside by means cf explosives placed on the tree branches, states the "Press."
