"SUGARY PROPAGANDA"
Rec. 11.30 a.m. WASHINGTON, Oct. 5. American cargo planes flying to China often carry presents for the lady friends of Chinese politicians instead of ammunition, declared Senator Lodge, in a speech, adding: "It is time the United States stopped this sugary propaganda." Senator Lodge also said that American airmen in China were shocked to learn that 'the Chinese army in South China was selling tungsten to the Japanese.
