INDICTMENTS IN U.S.A.

WASHINGTON, October 5. The Federal Grand Jury charged the German-American Vocational League, Incorporated, and 27 officers and members, with allegedly illegally conspiring to act as Nazi agents. The indictment alleges that the league, under the direction of the . German Government, disseminated German propaganda, its principal objective being to gain acceptance of the doctrines of National Socialism in the United States and prevent American participation in the war. The Attorney-General, Mr. Biddle, said that the indictment set out the alleged relationship between the league and the Nazi Party in Germany as from January, 1933, to January, 1942.
