EMPIRE AIR CONFERENCE

LONDON, October 4. The Lord Privy Seal, Lord Beaverbrook, is assisting Mr. Churchill in the preparation of the Empire air conference which will shortly be held in London, says "The Times." Lord Beaverbrook, who will be primarily responsible for the co-ordination of United Kingdom policy is expected to play a prominent part in the conference. Wider discussions with the United States and other United Nations on post-war aviation are expected to follow the conference.
