GENERAL SYNOD
MEETING IN AUCKLAND P.A. AUCKLAND, October 5. For the first time for 21 years the General Synod of the Anglican Church will be held in Auckland next month, opening on November 24. Archbishop West-Watson will preside. The business session of the Synod will cover about 10 days. Those attending, in addition to the bishops, will be three clerical and four lay representatives from each of the seven dioceses in the Dominion and also representatives from Melanesia and Polynesia.
