At the request of a number of school committees of the Hutt-Hprowhenua ward of the Wellington ' Education Board's district, Colonel T. W. McDonald has agreed to stand for the vacancy caused on the Wellington Education Board by the death of Mr. D. McCaskill. Colonel McDonald previously has been a rriember of the board for 12 years, and represented Makara County and the Johnsonville Town District on the Wellington Technical College Board of Managers.
