Commissioner J. Evan Smith, Terri* torial. Commander of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, accompanied bj Mrs. Smith, returned to Wellington yesterday after taking special services a 1 Motueka, Nelson, and Blenheim. The Commissioner also ' addressed the Rotary Club :at Blenheim. Mr W. A. Simpson was re-elected president of the United Kingdom Manufacturers' and New Zealand Re« presentatives' Association at the annual meeting yesterday afternoon. Messrs,, L. H. Wood and L. T. Jacobsen were elected vice-presidents..,...,. Mrs. B. Richardson; -19 Severn Street, Island Bay, slipped on'the floor at home today and suffered a fracture and dislocation of the left elbow. She was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
