Study Circle. A talk on "The Life of the Honey Bee" was given at the meeting of the Women's Study Circle held in the "Evening Post" building on Tuesday. The speaker was Mrs. Cook, one of the members. An interesting discussion followed. Mrs. Webb, president, was in the chair. , ' English-speaking Union. Women members of the Englishspeaking Union are reminded of the social afternoon to be held at the rooms tomorrow. Seventy-one Descendants. The death has occurred of Mrs. Lucetta Mary Milne, widow of' Mr. John Milne, of Killarney Road, Frankton, aged 81. Mrs. Milne was born at Wairoa, Hawke's Bay. A family of nine survive, and there are 42 grandI children and 20 great-grandchildren.
