Dr. W. A. Riddell, High Commissioner for Canada in New Zealand, has returned from a visit to Australia.
The Rev. A. .J. Stewart, for nearly four years assistant priest in the Anglican parish of Khandallah and Ngaio, has been transferred to Raetihi as acting-vicar, and expects to take up" his new duties before- the end of this month. He replaces the Rev. V. Joblin, now a chaplain to the Forces.
-Mr. D.-R;; L. Stevenson, F.R.C.S., M.R.C.O.G; T '(formerly of Dunedin) holds the appointment of consulting gynaecologist to the Borough' of , Doncaster and the West Riding of Yorkshire. He was recently appointed honorary surgeon at ,the Scunthorpe War Memorial Hospital.
