DECREE NISI GRANTED

In a reserved judgment delivered today in the Supreme Court, Mr. Justice Johnston granted a decree nisi to Algeon Harold Homer (Mr. G. I. Joseph) on his petition for divorce against Doris Maud Homer (Mr. R. R. Scott). The petition was based on a written' agreement for separation, and the respondent opposed the grant of a divorce on the ground that the separation was due to the wrongful acts and conduct of the petitioner. His Honour found that, apart from the fact of the petitioner's departure from the home, there had been no misconduct on his part, and that the cause of his leaving was friction between husband and wife, which was substantially the cause of both the desertion and the agreement for separation. In his Honour's view, the respondent had failed to make out her case, and the petitioner , was therefore entitled to his decree. ' ,
