SOLDIER SENT TO GAOL

A sentence of three months' imprisonment was imposed by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court today upon Arthur Henry Edmonds, 19, soldier,' who admitted stealing a purse and its contents valued at £5 Is which he found at the camp where he was stationed. Detective-Sergeant W. McLennan said that Edmonds was on probation when he committed this theft.
