FATHERS IN FORCES

PROHIBITION PLAN IN U.S.A.

■ WASHINGTON, August 11. The chairman of the Military Committee of the House of Representatives, Mr. May, announced that when Congress reassembles next month he will introduce a Bill prohibiting the induction of fathers into the forces. It might also provide for the discharge of fathers already enlisted. Mr. May said that the army was now. approximately 10,000,000 strong and Congress might determine that it was big enough.
