CHARGE OF ESPIONAGE
Rec. 10 a.m. WASHINGTON, Aug. 8. Roberto Lanas Vallecilla, aged 35, a Columbian employed by the Office of the Co-ordinator of Inter-American Affairs, was arrested on charges oi espionage for Germany. Vallecilla admitted transmitting to Lisbon three letters in secret ink containing information about American defence efforts.
