PERSONAL NOTES

Mrs. Griffiths Rennie and Miss Estelle Rennie, Auckland, are the guests of Mrs. J. W. Carr, Thompson Street. After many years' absence in Sydney, Miss Violet Roche arrived recently in Auckland on her way to take up her new appointment as New Zealand secretary to the Dr. Barnardo's Homes. She left yesterday for Hamilton, en route to Wellington, where she will commence her new duties on Monday.
