LINE OF THE FRONT
Rec. 12.30 p.m. RUGBY, July 28. Tlig front in Sicily, according to the latest information, runs somewhat east and north of a line from Cefalu, on the' north coast, to Petralia,' Alimena, Enna, Ramacca, and Dernardello, and then along the Dittaino River. The land situation shows very little change today, according to a correspondent at Allied headquarters in North Africa. The Canadians, however, have made a real advance after fierce fighting in rough mountainous country against German reinforced units, including the Hermann Goering Division.—B.O.W.
