R.A.A.F. CASUALTIES

TOTAL OF 5393 TO MARCH Rec. 1 p.m. MELBOURNE, July 29. Casualties in the Royal Australian Air Force from the outbreak of the war to March 31, 1943, were 5393, states the Minister for Air, Mr. Drakeford. They comprised 2539 killed, 1433 wounded, 892 missing, 301 prisoners, and 138 died of illness.
