CROWDS IN MARTINIQUE
NEW YORK, July 7
The Trinidad correspondent of the Associated Press says that a crowd of 15,000 took possession of the streets of Fort de France in Martinique for two days recently, shouting "Vive de Gaulle!" and singing the "Marseillaise." This is reported to have forced the Government to seek an agreement with the United States.
