I Official figures of killings for the present season at the Dominion's freezing works from I October 1 to June 19, as issued by the Meat Board, show that lamb killings now total 10,896,044 ccs, compared with 10,9T8,436 to June 20 last season, this being a decrease of 82,392. Wether mutton killings are 603,935 ccs, and ewe mutton killings 1,705,566,. compared with 762,779 and 1,954,326 respectively last season. Frozen beef production lias reached 537,557 qrs, compared with 562,171 last' season. BANK DIVIDEND. Cabled advice lias been received from the head ofHco In Melbourne of tho Commercial Bank of Australia advising that a final dividend for six months ended June 30, 1943, at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum on preference shares and at G 2-3 per cent, per annum on ordinary shares will be paid on August 20, in Australian currency. >iew Zealand Farmers' Fertiliser Co., Ltd., Auckland, net profit was £16,769, compared with £20,70" last year, and £25,496 in 1941. With the balance brought forward of £32,176 there is a total credit of £ 48,945. From this the dividend ou preference capital absorbing £7219 has been taken, leaving £41,726 available. Tho directors recommend a dividend on ordinary shares of 4 per cent., an unchanged rate, payable on August 20, requiring £10,480, leaving a carry-forward of £31,246.
