DEATH OF LINESMAN
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, July 8. Daniel Ridden, aged 28, of Spreydon, Christchurch, died in the Christchurch Hospital today from injuries received at Hororata on Saturday. Mr. Ridden, an electrical linesman employed by*| the municipal electricity department, Christchurch, was on loan to the Malvern Power Board to assist with the restoration of power services interrupted by the recent snowstorm. He fell from a power pole, receiving head injuries and concussion.
