FIJI SUGAR STRIKE

SUVA, July 5. The Colonial Sugar Refinery Company having wholly rejected the strike settlement proposals, the Governor has decided to refer the dispute to a national arbitration tribunal, with the Attorney-General as chairman. The first meeting of the tribunal will be held at Lautoka on Thursday.'
