FOUR INJURED
SKIDDED ON THE FROST
Injuries caused by skids on frosty roads or paths necessitated the removal of four people to hospital today and yesterday, and a light truck was almost completely wrecked from the same cause. Mr. W. Hodge, a farmer, of Glenside, was driving the truck into the city along the Hutt Road about 7.30 a.m. today when it skidded on a frosty patch and struck a pole. The truck was reduced to wreckage, and Mt. flodge received scalp wounds ana o-evere shock, but two people who were with him in the vehicle were not hurt. The accident Happened just north of Kaiwarra.
Mrs. K. Williamson, of 8 Izard Street, Kh.andallah, injured her left thigh through a fall this morning, and yesterday morning Mrs. E. Albert, of 177 Karepa Street, Brooklyn, ' dislocated her left elbow, and Mrs. E. Dwyer, of 111 Creswick Terrace, Northland, injured her right arm. The Free Ambulance took all the injured people to hospital.
