Grounds were beavy but overhead conditions wore good, and tho games generally were well contested." Railways hold tho lead in the championship competition, but, they havo played ono more game than their nearest rivals, and that was against Petonc, who havo since withdrawn from tho competition. Moera Stop Out and Waterside aro second equal. Points earned, with tho number of games played in parentheses, are as follows:—Railways 13 (8), Moera Stop Out 12 (7), Waterside 12 (7), Comrades 9 (7), Marist 8 {7), Instituto 4 (7), Technical Old Boys 3 (7), Army 3 (6), Air Force 0 (6). Tho games resulted; — Railways boat Institute, 6-2. Scorers for tho winners were Woods (3), Downs (2), and Binns, 'and for Instituto McKinley and Sargeant. . Watersido beat Comrades, 6-2. Scorers for tho winners were' Mildenhall (4), Longbottom, and Brown, and for tho losers 11. Scott scored twice. ~ . Technical Old' Boys drew with Marist, 5-aIL Scorers for Technical were McMenarain (3). Gates, and Bridge, and for Marist they were Swain (3) and W. Thompson (2).
