AXIS INVASION, FEAR
LONDON, July 2.
Axis decrees for the maintenance of internal order and also radio efforts to reassure the populations of Italy, Germany, and the occupied countries reVeal continued nervousness regarding the possibilities of an Allied invasion. The fears are causing the enemy many sleepless nights, though the Axis is claimed to be growing stronger every flay. The Axis claims that Norway has been further strengthened. Bus traffic in Norway is practically at a standstill because of a German order making permits necessary for journeys of more than 20 miles. The German naval commander in Norway announced that a vast minefield has been laid outside Narvik.
