' The: brideshiaid, Miss Hazel Proctor, \yore; a. gown", of deep rose taffeta cut on mid-Victorian lines, and in: her hair was a spray of gladioli to tone. Her bouquet, was, of cyclamen. Sergeant P. J.-'Carr, Dannevirke, was best man. ' ' : Mrs. ■ Hyde received, the guests at the reception held at the Peter Pan tearooms, Lower Hutt. Congratulatory messages received .included, a cablegram from the bride's sister,- Mrs. A. C. Williams,, of: Cheshire. England.
