His Excellency the G6vernor-GeneraL will. be present at the first performance of "Watch, on the Rhine" on Tuesday next, when the Wellington Repertory Theatre presents this recordbreaking play at the Technical College Theatre. Critics have been unanimous in selecting this play as the finest since the war. Tho producer is W. S. Wauchop, and , the cast includes Molly Brown, Elsie Lloyd. Elsie Bctts-Vlncont, Mary Doolan, Ngaire Wilson, Cedric Gardiner, Graham Brown-Douglas, Richard Dledrichs, Dennis Hartley, Francis Walter, and Trevor Jarman. The box plans for the five nijfhts' season .are at the D.I.C. .
