FOUR SHIPS SUNK
SUBMARINES' SUCCESSES Rec. 10 a.m. * LONDON, July 1. Four more ships, comprising one large transport, one large supply sliipj one medium-sized Supply ship, and a small supply ship, have been destroyed by submarines operating in [Italian waters, says an Admiralty com- ! munique. ' Three torpedoes struck the transport, which was a fast modern vessel. i The medium-sized' supply ship was [ probably laden with ammunition, and ! blew up with such an explosion that the attacking submarine was severely shaken.
Another medium-sized supply ship was successfully attacked and is believed to have been sunk.
