Observing strange sounds coming from his radio set, coupled with a slight smell of burning, a Remuera resident removed the set from the cabinet and discovered a mouse's nest alongside the power transformer, states the "Auckland Star." The mouse had uncoiled a length of fine wire and used it in constructing the nest, which was located near the warmest place of the set The incident is • not unique, though it is-extremely rare.
