SUBURBS SEAT

The annual meeting of the Eastbourne branch of the National Party was held in the.Church Hall last night, when a large and interested audience listened to an address by Mr. W. J. Broadfoot,. M.P. for Waitomo. Mr. Broadfoot reviewed the issues which will confront voters at the coming election, and on the motion of Mr. A. J. Walling, seconded by Mr. Noel Mather, was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. During the supper interval the chairman introduced the four gentlemen who have been nominated for candidature for the Wellington Suburbs seat, and each of them gave a short address.
