MR. JONES IN CANADA

(Special P.A. Correspondent.) OTTAWA, June 26. The New Zealand Minister of Defence, Mr. F. Jones, has been greatly impressed with the new methods and ingenious apparatus at various Canadian stations established under the Empire Air Training Plan. -He has also been impressed by the high standard of accommodation and recreational facilities for trainees. The weather has interfered with Mr. Jones's itinerary, but in the last seven days he has covered almost 4000 miles by plane. He visited nine widely-separated centres at which there are New Zealanders. At one of these 210 men paraded. He will visit other stations where New Zealanders are located.
