OBITUARY
MR. P. CLUNE ■ The death has occurred in Wellington of Mr. Patrick Chine, at the age of 99. Born in County Clare, Ireland, Mr Clune spent some years in America before coming to New Zealand in.the ship Leicester in 1876. With, the exception of a trip to Australia, he had lived in Wellington ever since, being engaged in farming until the death of his wife, in 1904. Mr. Clune was a cousin of the late Archbishop Clune, lof Perth.' He is survived by four daughters and one son. There are If! grandchildren and' 20 great-grand-children. ! MEAT~PRODUCERS' BOARD ' The following nominations for three I vacancies for producers' representatives on the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board have been received:— W. Doig (sitting member), Papakaio; G. H. Grigg. Hororata; J. R. L. Hammond, Rata; F. C. Johnstone (sitting member), Waitetuna; L. Maclean (sitting member), Hastings; A. B. Moore. Whangarei; W. W. Mulholland, Darfield; H. D. Richardson, Feilding. The election takes place on August 26.
