END OF LULL APPROACHES

LONDON, June 25. "The end of the lull is approaching," said Berlin radio today. "German troops are standing shoulder to shoulder with the Italian troops." Rome radio mixed threats o f what would happen to the BrrUsh and American "gangster invaders" with admissions about the grave conditipns in southern Italy. "H the British and American invasion army reaches Italy, it will be annihilated, because the Italian armies will have the roads and railways to the rear of them," the' radio said. Mr. Stimson's statement in Washington was that reports indicated that Germany was moving forces into France and Italy in expectation of an invasion. Ten to 12 German divisions had been moved into France and several others into Italy.
