"HARSH AND UNJUST"
Farmers Resent Treatment (P.A.) DUNEDIN, This Day.

Approval of the suggestion that direct action would be justifiable after the war to gain redress was expressed by the chairman, Mr. H. H. Meredith (Waimate), who stated that in the Dominion's history there was no precedent for the utterly harsh and unjust treatment dealt out to the section of the people upon whose industry the welfare of the country largely depended.
