m A ) AUCKLAND, May 1. A'feature of the Avondale Jockey Club's Meeting at Ellerslie was the surprise victory in the Foley Memorial of British Mint, who returned a price approaching a century. The weather was line and the attendance large. The track was in good order. The totahsator handled £130,421 10s, against £G7,127 last year j —an increase of £63.294 10s.
