Fifty-three New Zealand nurses are included in the Staff of the New Zealand Army General Hospital recently opened in the New Caledonian bush, until recently New Zealand soldiers have been looked after in American army hospitals. The health of the New Zealand troops has been generally good, there being not much dysentery and an absence of infectious diseases.
