(ReC" March 7. The Japanese column striking northward from the neighbourhood of Tachupa, on the Yunnan-Burma border, has met stiff Chinese resistance and made no progress, says a Chinese communique. Chinese forces on the east bank of the Lunghuan River captured Kiangtsuchen and remnants of the enemy forces fled to Tengchung. Heavy losses were inflicted on tne enemy when the Chinese attacked near Neichihao in the Hupeh-Hunan border region where fighting is stm progressing.
