N.Z.'S CONGRATULATIONS
The Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) has sent the following message to the Prime bMinister of Australia (Mr. Curtin:—
"Will you please convey to General Mac Arthur, on behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand, a message of warmest congratulation on the decisive victory of his forces in the Bismarck Sea. This action has undoubtedly contributed in considerable measure towards the lessening Of the immediate menace threatening Austra : lia and New Zealand and is an important step towards victory in the Pacific."
