SOLDIERS' TEA DONATED
Mrs. Meikle provided the soldiers' tea at the V.M.C.A. on Sunday, when the hostesses were members of the girls' auxiliary. The gymnasium was packed to overflowing. Mr. H. Hindle was chairman and Chaplain Willard of the U.S.A. was a special guest. After tea the N.B.S. concert party presented a delightful programme.
Mrs. W. Taylor, Rakau Road, is visiting Nelson and the Franz Josef Glacier.
