CORSAIR FIGHTER BEING OPERATED

WASHINGTON, February 15,

The Associated Press says that today's navy communique makes its first mention of the Vought-Sikorsky Corsair fighters as being in action. They are believed to be the fastest carrier-type plane in the world, with a speed of 400 miles an hour, equal to that of the best landbased fighters.
