STATEMENTS AT AN INQUEST

At an inquest held last Friday upon a child who died after being scalded in a bath of hot water, a. statement was made by the child's father alleging that a doctor had refused to come to the child when he was asked to do so immediately after the accident. "I am not here to try Dr. Myers. . . . He is not here to defend himself," said the Coroner (Mr. W. G. L. Mellish) in giving his verdict.
