WOMAN'S GENEROUS GIFT

(P A.) DUNEDIN, February 15. A gift of. £200 in cash and £200 in 1956 3 per cent. Inscribed Stock has been made by Mrs. J. G. Gilchrist, Christchurch, to the Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association of Otago on behalf of the Blind Sailors' and Soldiers' Fund. This fund was organised after the last war by the executive, comprising committee members of the Commercial Travellers' Association in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, and has remained under the control of this executive ever since. Another donation of £50.has been made to the fund by Mr. W. H. Birtwhistle, of Wellington.
