CAR OVER BANK
(P.A.) NELSON, Feb. 5. Seven men were admitted to Nelson Hospital this evening sui'ering from injuries received when a truck went over a bank in Collins Valley, on the Nelson-Blenheim highway, late this afternoon. The injured were:— Arthur J. Leahy, chest injuries and shock; Rodger Pitcher, broken leg: Thomas Edwin Price, a broken rib and internal injuries; Cyril Strafford, broken fingers and shock; Daniel Timmings, head and face injuries; Richard Jary, injured shoulder; Alexander Thompson, shock and abrasions. As a result of failure of the steering the truck went over the bank and crashed into the Collins Stream. Several of the passengers were on their way to Nelson for the weekend. Mr. Thompson was the driver.
