CELEBRITY CONCERT.
Ignaz Friedman, eminent Polish pianist, and Andersen Tyrer, distinguished English conductor, in association with the v N.B.S. Orchestra, will appear at the Opera House tomorrow evening. A programme of exceptional interest will be played, one of the features being Tschaikovsky's "Pianoforte Concerto No. 1 in B Flat Minor." Their Excellencies the GovernorGeneral and Lady Newall will be present at the concert, which has been organised by arrangement with the National Broadcasting Service to assist the Wellington Metropolitan Patriotic Appeal. Rail and tram transport arrangements after the concert and other information are advertised.
